Lotus Feild

This work was made during Dawn Light, an event held at the Gosford Regional Gallery in Australia.

The work is constructed from nearly 100 bicycle inner tubes and wire. 9 lotus flowers rise and fall on the tide in the littoral zone, Caroline Bay. At low tide they settle into new mangrove stalks, at high tide the float freely drifting with the current.
